Bora

Visual identity for a the new portuguese brand and product design collective, Bora.

Bora is a collective of four interdependent friends and product designers. Drawing on each one’s experience, they decided to join forces and work together whilst maintaining their autonomy. Their way of being, naturally connects them, as do the materials they work with – wood, glass, ceramics, metals, plant fibres and textiles. The development of the products involves local, manual and semi-industrial production. In essence, uniting and multiplying forces.

The visual identity combines a monochrome approach, that separates the objects from each other, with a certain fluidity of the colors which reflects the way the collective works, both collaboratively and independently. The project included the creation of the logo, business card, postcards, product catalogue and a website.
