Read What You Want! was a reading club and performative art group founded in Berlin, Germany, in 2014. From 2014 until the end of 2018, the collective organised a series of events between Berlin and Miami.

Each event invited readers to occupy locations not commonly associated with reading. Unlike a ‘book club’, in which attendees all read the same material, each reader was invited to bring their own book. There may be readings, discussions, book swaps or other interventions during the event, but the primary purpose is to share the quietly radical act of reading together, to collectively consider how reading and place are intimately tied together.
